WHNREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />W~REAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASEON <br /> COUNTY OF AL~a4EDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73-155 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEE RETENTION OF THE SERVICES <br />OF BROWN AND CALDWELL AS CONSULTANT ENGINEERS FOR <br />METE~ING STATIONS <br /> <br /> the City of Pleasanton has two principal sewer lines going <br /> to the Valley Community services District Sewage treatment <br /> plant (the Mocho Lift Station on the West Pleasanton sewer <br /> and the Highland Oaks Siphon at the Alamo Canal); and <br /> <br /> the terms of the November 8, 1972 agreement between the <br /> <br /> City 0f Pleasanton and Valley Community Services District <br /> <br /> places responsibility for the installation and maintenance <br /> of measuring devices on said lines on the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton; and <br /> <br /> Brown and Caldwell were the original project engineers for <br /> the construction of the Valley Community Services District <br /> plant; and <br /> <br /> in order to ob~tain an adequate metering at the above lines. <br /> <br /> it is advisable to ~tain the engineers of the original <br /> <br /> plant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEEORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council approves the retention of Brown <br /> Caldwell, consulting engineers, to provide engineering <br /> services required for a study and report for permanent <br /> metering facilities to measure the waste water flowsat <br /> the two sewer lines of the City of Pleasanton which are <br /> connected to the Valley Community Services District plant <br /> (the Mocho Lift Station on the West Pleasanton Sewer and <br /> the Highland Oak~ Siphon at the Alamo Canal), said study <br /> not to exceed the fee of $2400.00. <br /> <br /> 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> <br /> <br />
