CITY OF PLEASEON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73-178 <br /> <br />APPROVING A REQUEST FOR A SEPTIC TANK FOR <br />J. A. JENKS COMPANY DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council by Ordinance No. 598 approved the rezon- <br /> ing of the J. A. JENKS COMPANY industrial development at <br /> the corner of Mohr Avenue and Oakland Avenue for the <br /> purposes of constructing a spice factory; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 20, 1973, the City Council approved a holding <br /> <br /> tank for this development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Resolution No. 73-139 re- <br /> garding establishment of a policy regarding the use of <br /> septic tanks in the City of PleaSanton~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, J. A. Jenks Company has submitted an application for <br /> septic tank approval which has been reviewed by the <br /> Alameda County Health Department and City staff pursuant <br /> to the aforementioned Resolution No. 7~-139; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Health Department, on November 5, 1973, recommended <br /> <br /> approval of a septic tank; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The request for approval of installation of a septic <br /> tank on property owned by J. A. Jenks Company is approved <br /> subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> (1) The septic tank shall be a two-compartment, pro- <br /> cast concrete tank having a capacity as determined <br /> by the City Health Officer. <br /> <br /> (2) The leach field shall consist of two trenches each <br /> 100 feet long, 4 feet deep and 3 feet wide. <br /> <br /> <br />
