WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73-168 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION INITIATING A REZONING STUDY OF THE <br />EL RANCHO MOTEL AND REQUESTING THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION TO CONSIDER SAID STUDY <br /> <br />the Planning Commission on October 17, 1972, recommended <br />that the E1 Rancho Motel area be rezoned from A (Agri- <br />cultural) District to CF (Freeway Interchange Commercial) <br />Distric~ and <br />said property was so ,rezoned by the City Council when it <br />adopted Ordinance 689 on January 22, 1973; and <br />concern has been expressed by members of the City Council <br />regarding the fulfillment of all conditions to the re- <br />zoning of the property, as well as the appropriateness of <br />the zoning classification on the property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SeCtion 1. Pursuant to ~2-12.04 ofthe Ordinance Code of the City <br /> of Pleasanton, the Pleasanton Planning Commission is <br /> requested to undertake the necessary studies to determine <br /> if the CF District zoning for the E1 Rancho Motel area <br /> is appropriate and to make recommendations to the City <br /> Council regarding that area. <br /> <br />Section 2. City staff is directed to undertake the necessary <br /> studies to assist the Planning Commission in making its <br /> recommendations. <br /> <br />Section 3.
