CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73-190 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO ACCEPT A TENTATIVE <br /> MAP FOR A 18.16 PARCEL OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST <br /> CORNER OF BERNALAVENUEAND FOOTHILL ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 13, 1973, the Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton adopted a restricted growth policy for the City <br /> of Pleasanton due to the restriction of available sewer <br /> capacity within the City and adjacent thereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, paragraph 3 of this policy advise~ the Planning Commission <br /> and staff to refrain from accepting residential tentative <br /> maps; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 0nNovember 20, 1973, a request was received from Castle- <br /> wood Enterprises requesting an exemption from the provisions <br /> of the above mentioned paragraph 3 in order that a tentative <br /> map might be filed on the 18.16 acre parcel of property <br /> indicated at the southeast corner of Eernal Avenue and <br /> Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this request was considered by the City Council at their <br /> meeting of December 10, 1973, at which time a full explana- <br /> tion was made by the developers regarding their request for <br /> exemption; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the developer is seeking to obtain a <br /> <br /> portion of some 100 sewer connections which were allocated <br /> by the November 8, 1972 agreement between Valley Community <br /> Services District, City of Pleasanton and various developers. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. City staff is authorized to accept a tentative map <br /> <br /> for the development of an 18.16 acre parcel of property. <br /> <br /> located at the southeast corner of Bernal Avenue and Foot- <br /> hill Road, said map upon receipt is to be processed pursuan~ <br /> to the normal procedures for considering a tentative map <br /> <br /> <br />
