WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73-185 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING TH~ LEASE PURCHASE OF MODULAR <br />BUILDINGS TO BE LOCATED AT T~E AMADOR VALLEY COMMUNITY <br />PARK FOR A CULTURAL ARTS FACILITY <br /> <br /> the City of Pleasanton hasaa large number of residents <br /> who are interested in the cultural arts; and <br /> the City has been unableto provide classes for many <br /> aspects of cultural arts due to the lack of a permanent <br /> structure; and <br /> the Park and Recreation Commission, at their meeting of <br /> November 28, 1973, adopted Resolution No. 73-34 recommend- <br /> ing that the City Council lease purchase 3,0p0 square <br /> feet of relocatable modular buildings to be established <br /> a~ the permanent site for the cultural arts facility in <br /> the Amador Valley Community Park; and <br /> the City Council had designated $35,000.00 of the City's <br /> Revenue Sharing Funds for the purpose of establishing a <br /> cultural arts center; and <br /> the City CoUncil at their meeting of December 3, 1973, <br /> considered this request and public comment related there- <br /> to; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVE[ <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Council hereby adopts by reference the recommenda- <br /> tions of the Park and Recreation Commission as set forth <br /> in their resolution No. 73-34 and authorizes City staff <br /> to proceed to implement the recommendations contained in <br /> said resolution. <br /> <br /> its passage and adoption. <br />Dated: December 3, 1973 <br /> <br /> dgar, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
