WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also was opposed to the ambigui- <br /> ties in the legislation as indicated by the numerous <br /> blank spaces throughout the bill. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council supports the position of the Planning <br /> Commission and the reasons stated by the Planning Commis- <br /> sion for their position and is opposed to the passage of <br /> Assembly Bill 2340 (Z'Berg) <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to send a copy of <br /> this resolution to the offices of Assemblyman Carlos Bee, <br /> Senator Clark Bradley, the City Council of the City of <br /> Livermore, the Airport Committee of the City of Livermore, <br /> the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> League of California Cities in order to inform them of <br /> the position of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br /> in opposition to Assembly Bill 2340 . <br /> <br />Section 3.
