RESOLUTION NO. 74-60 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING PLEASANTON JUNIOR WOMEN'S CLUB <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there was no public transportation available in the community; and <br />WHEREAS, a mini-bus service was provided by the Pleasanton Junior Women's Club for any senior citizen in Pleasanton requiring transportation for medical, shopping, banking, or other needs; and <br />WHEREAS, this service has greatly benefitted the community; and <br />WHEREAS, now the services of another mini-bus for youth transportation has been provided by the Pleasanton Junior Women's Club. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasnaton does hereby commend the Pleasanton Junior Women's Club for their outstanding contributions to citizens of all ages in this community and does hereby declare the week of May 13, 1974, as Junior Women's Club Week. <br /> <br />DATED: April 22, 1974 <br /> <br /> S.
