Section 8. Retirement <br /> <br />8.1 Membership <br /> All eligible management and confidential employees shall be membem of the Public <br /> Employees' Retirement System. <br /> <br />8.2 <br /> <br />Retirement Plans <br /> <br />The specific plans provided management and confidential employees are as follows: <br /> <br />(1) Miscellaneous management and confidential employees shall be provided the <br /> PERS 2% @ 55 plan to include the following options: 1959 Survivor Benefit to <br /> include Section 21382.2 benefits, credit for unused sick leave, and one highest <br /> year compensation. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Public safety management employees shall be provided the PERS 2% @ 50 <br />plan to include the following options: 1959 Survivor Benefit, credit for unused <br />sick leave benefit, and highest one year compensation. <br /> <br />8.3 <br /> <br />Payment- EmDIoyee's Contribution <br /> <br />The City shall pay the employee's centdbution to PERS. In addition, the employee's <br />contribution paid by the City will be reported as "special compensation". <br /> <br />Section 9. Uniforms <br /> <br /> The City shall provide fifty percent (50%) of the initial purchase pdce of uniforms of <br /> those management employees required to wear a uniform. For the classification of <br /> Police Lieutenant, Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, Division Chief, Fire Marehal, Assistant <br /> Fire Marshal, Administrative Manager, CAD Records Manager. and EMS Disaster <br /> Manager the City shaft provide an annual uniform allowance of $650.00. In the event <br /> the uniform allowance paid non-management employees increases, the City Manager <br /> will also increase the managers' allowance. <br /> <br />Section '10. Credit Union <br /> <br /> The City shall provide a voluntary payroll deduction option for those employees who <br /> wish to join the Fimt United Services Credit Union for the purpose of transacting <br /> business with such First United Services Credit Union. <br /> <br /> Page 15 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
