CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-124 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (PCEA), <br />AMENDING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS FOR <br />ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND <br />AMENDING THE 2000/01 BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting through he City Manager as employer representative <br />of the City Council, and representatives of Pleasanton City Employees Association <br />have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the <br />Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of <br />employment for members of the Pleasanton City Employees Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of the above meet and confer process a proposed Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees <br />Association was presented to the City Council at the meeting of November 7, <br />2000; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />Approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees <br />Association for a term commencing November 1, 2000 and ending October 31, <br />2003. <br /> <br />The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton <br />to all employees in the Pleasanton City Employees Association during the period <br />November 1, 2000 through October 31, 2003, shall be as set forth in Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />The budget for fiscal year 2000/01 is hereby amended to reflect those changes <br />enumerated in Exhibit "A" . <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
