CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 00-124 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION (PCEA), AMENDING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 2000/01 BUDGET WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, acting through he City Manager as employer representative of the City Council, and representatives of Pleasanton City Employees Association have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section 3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton City Employees Association; and WHEREAS, as a result of the above meet and confer process a proposed Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees Association was presented to the City Council at the meeting of November 7, 2000; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 2: Section 3: Approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton City Employees Association for a term commencing November 1, 2000 and ending October 31, 2003. The employees' class titles and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton to all employees in the Pleasanton City Employees Association during the period November 1, 2000 through October 31, 2003, shall be as set forth in Exhibit "A". The budget for fiscal year 2000/01 is hereby amended to reflect those changes enumerated in Exhibit "A" . Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
