CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00- 126 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS TO ACCEPT AND SIGN PROGRAM <br />SUPPLEMENTS TO ADMINISTERING AGENCY-STATE <br />AGREEMENTS FOR FEDERAL AID FUNDING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and/or California Transportation <br />Commission (CTC) make funds available for local projects and said funds are <br />administered by CalTrans; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the funds are administered pursuant to Administering Agency - State Agreements <br />for Federal Aid Projects, between the City of Pleasanton and the State and have <br />been accepted by the City Council on November 20, 1997; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Program Supplement to the Master Agreement is required to be approved for every <br /> specific project that is to receive Federal fun&s; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Program Supplements are agreements betwean the City and State as to the standard <br /> conditions, term and project limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Paragraph 5 of Article I "Project Administration," of the Master Agreement allows <br />a local agency governing body to delegate the anthodty to manage the Progrmn <br />Supplements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of November 7, 2000, the City Council received and discussed a <br />report (SR 00:270) from the Director of public Works related to a request to adopt <br />said resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City of Pleasanton Director of Public Works be, and hereby is, delegated the <br />authority to endorse Program Supplements to the "Administering Agency - State <br />Agreement for Federal Funded Projects." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
