CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-114 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CEQA MITIGATION <br />MONITORING AND REPORTING PLAN FOR THE BERNAL <br />PROPERTY SPECIFIC PLAN AND PREZONING, <br />ANNEXATION, PUD PLANS, AND RELATED ACTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has adopted a Specific Plan, prezoning, annexation, Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD) Plans, Preannexation Development Agreement, Growth <br />Management Agreement, Affordable Housing Agreemeut, and other related <br />mailers (collectively the "Project") affecting approximately 510 + acres on both <br />sides ofi-680, south of Bernal Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting as lead agency under CEQA, determined that an EIR <br />was required for the Project and referred a Notice of Intent to prepare an EIR to all <br />affected/interested agencies, persons and groups; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton prepared a Draft. El R for the project which was published on <br />June 16, 1997, and Notice of Preparation aud availability was properly provided; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton accepted and responded to connnents to the Draft EIR, aud <br /> prepared a Final EIR lbr the Project which provided responses to the issues raised; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton provided Notice of Completion of the Final EIR, m~d <br />lbllowing public hearing, certified the Final EIR on February 15, 2000 by <br />Resolution N o. 00-013; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Cotmission held noticed public hearings on July 12 and 26, and <br />August 2 and 9, 2000, to take public comments regarding GHC Bemal Investors <br />LI~Cs plan to develop Phase I of the Project (which consists of about 308 acres of <br />commercial, office, medium and high density residential, and parks and <br />recreational uses) and recommended approval of the Project; and <br /> <br /> <br />
