CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-110 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED USE OF THE <br />TRAFFIC GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF <br />TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 15, 2000, the City Council reviewed the report of the <br /> Chief of Police (SR 00:225) regarding the proposed use of the Traffic Grant from <br /> the Caiifornia Office of Traflk Safety Program; <br /> <br />NOW, TIfEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the following proposed use of the Traffic Grant from the California <br />Office of Traffic Safety Program: <br /> <br />One Community Service Officer to share responsibilities in collision investigation, <br />deploying the speed awareness trailer, teaching pedestrian and bicycle safety <br />progranis in the local elementary and middle schools, and participating in various <br />mediums to present traffic safety education. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CrFY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 15, 2000 BY THE FOLLOWiNG VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Michael H.
