<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-117 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF MITCHELL PEREIRA FOR A <br />MAJOR MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED PUD <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />PUD-8I-28-4M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its mccting ofScptcmbcr 5, 2000, the City Council received a proposed negative <br />declaration for the application of Mitchell Pereira for a major modification of an <br />existing PUD development plan to allow the construction of an approximately <br />7,638-square foot, two-story office/commercial building, located on a portion of <br />the existing parking/landscaping area of the Pleasanton Station development on the <br />north side of West Angela Strcct, approximately 200 feet east of Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 23, 2000, <br />and received the recommendations of the statTand Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticcd public hcaring was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Conncil has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with thc <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, tbe City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potcntial for <br />adverse impacL~ on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />
