CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LAUREL CREEK ESTATES GEOLOGIC ttAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 00-102 RESOLUTION APPROVING ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE LAUREL CREEK ESTATES GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT (GHAD) WHEREAS, on October 18, 1994, pursuant to Section 26550 of the Public Resources Code, this Council adopted Resolution No, 94-118A, declaring that the Council is subject to the provisions of Division 17 (§26500 et seq.) of said Code, and lbrwarded a copy of said Resolution to the State Controller; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Division 17 of said Code, a petition was filed with the City Clerk, dated October 13, 1997, for the formation of a geologic hazard abatement district CGHAD") for the Laurel Creek Estates project area; and WHEREAS, on November 18, 1997, the GHAD for the Laurel Creek Estates project area was formed; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Division 17, a petition was filed with the City, dated June 6, 2000, to annex certain territory to the Laurel Creek Estates GHAD; and WHEREAS, said petition complied with the provisions of Public Resources Code §26552 and has attached to it a legal description of the boundaries o~' the territory to be annexed to the GHAD (Exhibit "A"), a map showing the bom~daries of the territory to be annexed to the CHAD (Exhibit "B") and a plan of control (Exhibit "C"); and WHEREAS, the City Clerk reviewed said petition and verified that it was complete, timely, and met all statutory requirements; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors on July 18, 2000 set the public hearing on the petition as August 1, 2000 at 6:55 p.m. at thc City Council Chan~bers at 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton; and
