CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNI'Y, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO, 00-096 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WIIEREAS. <br />WIIEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS. <br />WIIEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR A GENERAL <br />PLAN AMENDMENT, REZONING, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, AND <br />DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE PGPA-01 / PDR-46 / PRZ-02 / <br />PCUP-12 <br /> <br />at its meeting of July 18, 2000, the City Council received a proposed ncgative <br />declaration for the application of the City of Pleasanton for a General Plan <br />amendment to change the designation of a 13.5 acrc parcel (APN 941-1302-002- <br />24) from Public and Institutional to Parks and Recreation: rezoning of two parcels <br />totaling 24.2 acres (APNs: 941-1302-005-02 and 941-1302-002-24) from the <br />Agricultural zoning district to the Public and Institutional zoning district; issuance <br />of a conditional use permit for a 24-acre park; and design review of the proposed <br />Val Vista Park expansion located at 6701 Payne Road: and <br /> <br />the City Council received and rcviewcd the Initial Study dated June 8, 2000, and <br />received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of lhe proposed project: <br />and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />the Ci|y Council ihrther finds that the proposcd General Plan amendment, <br />rezoning, conditional use permit, and design review will have nn potential for <br />adverse impacts on the sitc's wildlife. <br /> <br /> <br />
