CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 00-077 <br /> <br />APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, THE CITY OF DUBLIN AND THE SAN <br />FRANCISCO BAY AREA RAPID TRANSIT DISTRICT (BART) <br />REGARDING FINANCING OF THE WEST DUBLIN / PLEASANTON <br />BART STATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), in partnership with <br />Jones and LaSalle, propose to develop property around the proposed BART <br />Station at West Dublin / Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a mixed-use development is proposed to include hotel and residential units in <br />Dublin and an office building in Pleasanton, as well as a BART station and <br />attendant public parking structures in the respective cities; and <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton is willing to cooperate in the funding of the Station project <br />and a Financial Participation Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) is required <br />to make the project financing feasible. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C[TY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council approves the attached Memorandum of Understanding <br />and authorizes the City Manager to sign the Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
