A regulax program of sweeping, litter control, and spill clean-up shall be <br />implemented. <br /> <br />c. Sidewalks and the parking lots shall be swept regularly to prevent the <br />accumulation of litter and debris. If pressure wash~l, debris must be trapped and <br />collected to prevent entry into the storm drain system. No cleaning agent may be <br />discharged to the storm drain. <br /> <br />d. All on-site storm drains shall be cleaned at least twice a year, once immediately <br />prior to the rainy seasen (October 15) and once in January. <br /> <br />e. Construction site clean-up and control of construction debris shall be addressed <br />in the plan. Measures to be followed include gathering construction debris and placing <br />it in a dumpster or container on a regular basis, eresting a contained and covered area <br />on the site for the storage of materials such as cement and paint which have the potential <br />for being discharged into the storm drain system by wind or spillage, and ensuring that <br />cement trucks, painters, or stucco/plaster finishing contractors do not discharge wash <br />water from equipment, tools or rinse containers into street gutters or drains. Street storm <br />drain inlets shall be protected from contaminated run-off during construction as required <br />by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />f. On-site storm drainage inlets shall be stenciled with wording to indicate that no <br />dumping of polhtants is allowed ("No dumping. Drains to bay.") <br /> <br />In situations where the hydraulic grade line (HGL) is above the rim of the nearby storm <br />drain catch basin, storm drain run-off from this catch basin shall be pumped up to the <br />appropriate level, or the storm drain line shall be connected to a storm drain line with <br />a lower I-IGL. <br /> <br />All on-site sanitary sewer shall adhere to UBC standards for m~ximum and minimum <br />slopes. <br /> <br />Trash enclosure axeas shall be roofed and all run-off from and within the enclosure shall <br />be channelled to the sanitary sewer system. Storm drain water shall be directed away <br />fwm the enclosure area through berms or drains connected to the storm drain system. <br /> <br />Should the applicant desire that eaeh building be equipped with its own water meter, <br />rather than with one water meter for the entire site, each individual water meter shall be <br />equipped with its own backflow prevention device. <br /> <br /> <br />
