CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-145 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CASE PUD-85-8-7D ('METRO <br /> THE APPLICATION OF SPIEKER PROPERTIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Spieker Properties has applied for development plan approval to construct a retail <br />center consisting of 152,800 square feet and two pad buildings totalling 31,590 <br />square feet on approximately 17 acres located at 4301 Rosewood Drive (northwest <br />corner of Rosewood Drive and Owens Drive); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Devalopmen0 - MCOIPD (Mixed <br /> Commercial/Office/Industrial) Planned District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 6, 1994, and the Council <br />considered all public testimony taken concerning the proposed project, relevant <br />exhibits and recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />new buildings within the Hacienda Business Park are exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), because <br />impacts of all development (commernial, office, ere,), have been analyzed through <br />the original EIR and subsequent environmental documents evaluating impacts of <br />the commere'ml rezoning; therefore, no environmental document was prepared for <br />this application; and <br /> <br />the City Council determined that th~ proposed development, as conditioned, is <br />appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Approves the application of Spieker Properties for development plan approval to <br />construct a retail center consisting of 152,800 square feet and two pad buildings <br />totalling 31,590 square feet on approximately 17 acres located at 4301 Rosewood <br />Drive (northwest corner of Rosewood Drive and Owens Drive) in the Hacienda <br />Business Park, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
