CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-124 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF JUNIPERO STREET FROM <br />THE WEST SIDE OF SUNOL BOULEVARD TO PLANNED <br />SOUTHERNMOST END OF CASE AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of October 18, 1994, the City Council received a proposed negative <br />declaration for the proposed extension of Junipero Street from the west side of <br />Sunol Boulevard to the planned, southernmost end of Case Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received and reviewed the Initial Study dated October I1, 1994, <br /> and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; end <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed street <br />extension; and <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations end Envimnmeetal Impact Repom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed street extension would not have any <br />significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />the City Council further finds that th~ proposed project will have no potential for <br />adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the Negative Declaration for the proposed street extension of hnipero <br />Street from the west side of Sunol Boulevard to the planned, southernmost end <br />of Case Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council finds that the proposed project will have a Q¢ minimi$ impact <br /> on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br /> <br />
