EXHIBIT A <br /> CONDITIONS OF APPRO~rAL <br /> AP-94-08 (UP-94-57) <br /> October 18, 1994 <br /> <br /> The piano lessons shall be conducted with the following <br /> stipulations: <br /> a. The hours of operation shall be as follows: <br /> Monday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM <br /> Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM <br /> Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM <br /> Thursday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM <br />b. The number of students shall be limited to a maximum of <br /> ten per day and 32 per week. <br />c. No signs are allowed in conjunction with the home <br /> Occupation. <br />d. No more than one student shall receive instruction at <br /> any one time. <br />e. Piano lessons shall take place only in the room <br /> specified (the living room). <br />f. Instruction shall not be provided for Say instruments <br /> other than piano. <br />g. The living room windows shall remain closed during all <br /> instruction. <br />h. Recitals shall not be allowed. <br /> <br />No one other than the applicant shall be employed in the <br />conduct of this home occupation. <br /> <br />In order to minimize traffic and parking impacts on the <br />neighborhood, the following rules Shall apply: <br />a. Students shall be encouraged to walk or ride bicycles <br /> to lessons. <br />b. Except for curbside drop-off and pick-up described <br /> below, drivers of vehicles transporting Students to and <br /> from the residence, including those waiting for a <br /> student to finish a lesson, shall park in the <br /> applicant's driveway. The applicant shall ensure that <br /> at least one parking space is available in the driveway <br /> for Student-carrying vehicles at all times lessons are <br /> scheduled. <br />c. Drivers of students shall be encouraged to wait inside <br /> the applicant's home rather than waiting in parked <br /> vehicles. <br />d. Students may be dropped-off and picked up by drivers of <br /> vehicles parking in the curb-side, on-street parking <br /> area directly in front of the applicant's residence. <br /> No double-parking for these purposes is allowed. <br />e. The applicant Shall impress upon all students the need <br /> for them to behave courteously toward the applicant's <br /> neighbors when they Sre outside the applicant's house, <br /> whether coming, leaving, or waiting. <br /> <br /> <br />
