CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 -112 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR A DRIVE - THROUGH ESPRESSO STAND AT <br />THE PLEASANT VILLAGE CENTER (UP -9410) <br />WHEREAS, Caffino, Incorporated applied for major modification to the development plan and <br />a conditional use permit to operate a drive - through espresso stand at the Pleasant <br />Village Center, located at 6700 Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended that the major modification be denied and <br />by so doing, did not approve the conditional use permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the matter was appealed to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 20, 1994 before the City <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the major modification to the development plan to <br />allow the drive - through espresso stand; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the use, as conditioned, is consistent with the <br />development plan as modified. <br />NOW, TIF.RFFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: <br />Upholds the appeal (AP -94 -07) and approves a conditional use permit to operate <br />a drive - through espresso stand at the Pleasant Village Center, subject to the <br />conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference. <br />
