WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94 -106 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CASE PUD- 81- 30 -56D, THE <br />APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br />OF NORTH AMERICA <br />Prudential Insurance Company has applied for development plan approval to <br />construct an approximately 535,000 square foot warehouse/distribution facility on <br />a 22.4 acre portion of a 33.4 acre site located at the northeast corner of Hacienda <br />Drive and Gibraltar Drive (South) in the Hacienda Business Park; and <br />zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Mixed Office and <br />Industrial Planned Development District (MOIPD); and <br />an Environmental Impact Report was previously prepared and certified for <br />Hacienda Business Park, development on the subject property was anticipated in <br />a consistent manner with the proposed project and was included within the scope <br />of the FIR, and the subsequent change in floor area ratio and parking standards <br />for warehouse uses was prepared and certified in a Negative Declaration for <br />Hacienda Business Park, and there are no changed circumstances or new <br />information requiring additional environmental review; therefore, this application <br />does not constitute a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br />documents accompany this application; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 6, 1994, and testimony taken concerning <br />the proposed project including its design, cumulative impact, consistency with <br />PUD- 81- 30 -29M, PUD- 81- 30 -19M, PUD- 85 -8 -3M, and the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the project is consistent with PUD -81 -30 -29M, <br />PUD- 81- 30 -19M, PUD- 85 -8 -3M, as well as the City's General Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />$ection 1: <br />Approves the application of Prudential Insurance Company for development plan <br />approval to construct an approximately 535,000 square foot <br />warehouse/distribution facility on a 22.37 acre portion of a 33.4 acre site located <br />at the northeast corner of Hacienda Drive and Gibraltar Drive (South) in the <br />Hacienda Business Park, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B ", attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br />
