CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-104 <br /> <br />RF, SOLUTION APPROVING TITE APPLICATION OF THE <br />CI1Y OF PLEASANTON FOR A GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT TO CLARIFY TRAFFIC STUDY <br />REQUIREMRNTS AS THEY RELATE TO SiTE SPECHq, C <br />TRA/aqC STUDW,~ FOR MAJOR DEVRI/JPMENTS <br />VfI~ICH [lAVE TH F POTENTIAL TO EXCEED 'l 'H ~: LEVEL <br />OF SERVICE (LOS) DESIGNATION OF "D", AS HLED <br />UNDER CASE GP-94-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 6, 1994, the City Council received an application <br />from the City of Ple~,~ton to clarify traffic study requirements as they relate to <br />site specific traffic studies for major developments which have the potential to <br />exceed the Level of Service (LOS) designation of "D"; and <br /> <br />V/HEREAS the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the proposed change and <br /> made recommendations to Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS based on the Initial Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> September 6, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the City Council held a public heating with respect to the General Plan <br />Amendment at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity <br />to address the City Council on said amendment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council approves the applk:,ailon of the City of Pleasanton for a General <br />Plan Amendment to clarify traffic study requirements as they relate to site <br />specific traffic studies for major developments which have the potential to exceed <br />the Level of Service (LOS) designalion of "D" , as shown in Exhibit "A" attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
