CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY. CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-g7 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WAIVER OF <br />PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES (PILOT) FOR THE <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CTTY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Pleasanton and the City of Pleasanton <br />entered into a cooperation agreement on April 12, 1971 for the purpose of <br />providing low-rent housing; and <br />WHEREAS, secfion 3(a) of the cooperation agreement indicates that the Housing Authority <br />shall make annual payments in lieu of taxes (PILOT) and special assessments; and <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority has requested waiver of the PILOT. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Authorizes [he waiver of payments in lieu of taxes as set fotdt in the cooperation <br />agreement between the Housing Authority of the City of Pleasanton and the City <br />of Pleasanton dated April 12, 1971. <br />t on 2: Authorizes waiver of any future payments in lieu of taxes which the Housing <br />Authority of [he Ci[y of Pleasanton may be assessed. <br />Section 3: Authorizes city staff to send a copy of this resolution to [he United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development and financial auditors for the <br />Housing Authority of the City of Pleasanton. <br />
