Fire services to the area will be provided <br />in conjunction with the City of Livermore through a proposed cooperative agreement. <br />• Provide $590,000 to begin design and construction of a new fire station number #4. Staff is <br />currently evaluating potential sites and intends to make a recommendation within the next four <br />to six months. <br />• Provide $275,000 to replace a 1969 fire engine which has experienced considerable repairs and <br />minor malfunctions over the past few years. <br />• Provide $552,000 for the renovation of Valley Trails park. <br />WATER <br />• Provide $525,000 to replace worn water mains. <br />• Construct the $448,800 Del Valle Parkway Water Main Extension project. <br />• Provide $200,000 for Foothill Boulevard Water System Improvements. <br />SEWER <br />• Construct the East Amador Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation project for an estimated project cost of <br />$1,657,312. <br />• Purchase a sewer telemetry system to monitor critical sewer locations for an estimated $82,000. <br />xu <br />
