CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-72 <br /> <br />I~v-~OLUTION APPROVING A MFAVIORANDUM OF <br />UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON POLICE <br />O~'~iCERS ASSOCIATION, FIXING SALARIES AND <br />CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR ENUMERATED <br />CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND AMENDING THE 1993-94 <br />BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer <br />representative of the City Council, and representatives of the Pleasanton Police <br />Officers Association have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of Section <br />3500, et seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, hours and other terms <br />and conditions of employment for members of the Pleasanton Police Officers <br />Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />as a result of the above meeting and conferring process a proposed Memorandum <br />of Understanding dated lune 13, 1994 between the City of Pleasanton and the <br />Pleasanton Police Officars Association was presented to the City Council at the <br />regular meeting of June 21, 1994; <br /> <br />NOW, TI-IF~REFORE, TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves and authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br />Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers <br />Association for a term commencing March 31, 1994 through March 30, 1995, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The employees' class ti~es and salary ranges to be paid by the City of Pleasanton <br />to all employees in the Pleasanton Police Officers Association during the period <br />March 31, 1994 through March 30, 1995, shall be set forth in Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />The budget for fiscal year 1993-94 is hereby amended to reflect those changes <br />enumerated in Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
