CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOR/~_A RESOLUTION NO. 9~--57 RF~OLUTION ADOPTING fiSCAL YEAR 1994-95 APPROPRIATION LIMIT Article )¢.$a of the State of Califomia Constitution (Proposition 4 on the November 6, 1979 ballot) requires that each year the governing body of each local agency establish its appropriation limit for the following year; and Proposition 111, passed by the voters in June of 1990, expands the choices for making annual adjustments to the appropriation limit based on various growth factors; and WHEREAS, the Alameda County Assessor's Offxce has not completed the calculation of the percentage change in the mx roll due to non-residential construction which is one of the growth factors available to the City to determine the 1994-95 appropriation limit; and WHEREAS, · e City Council has determined that ~e growth factors of (1) the l:geentage change in the city population, and (2) the percentage change in California per capita personal income wili be used to establish the 1994-95 appropriation limit on a provisional basis; and WHEREAS, selecting these growth factors will result in a provisional appropriation limit for 1994-95 of $86,148,309. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Proposition 111 growth factors selected on a provisional basis for 199445 are (1) the percentage change in the City population and (2) the pereantage change in California per capita personal income. S~on2: The provisional appropriation limit for fiscal year 1994-95 is $86, N-8,309. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
