CITY COUNCIL OF THIE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RF3OLUTION NO. 94-5I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AlPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR 'lll~ APPLICATION OF A.F. EVANS COMPANY FOR <br />]~ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE FUD-94-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 3, 1994, the City Council received a proposed negative <br />declaration for the application of A.F. Evans Company for rezoulng to the PUD <br />(Planned Unit DeveAopment) - IqDR (High Density Residential) District and <br />development plan approval to allow a 146-unit apartment development, with units <br />available for market-rate, low- and veq-low income houschulds on a vacant 7.4 <br />acre sit~ located at 5300 Cam Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated 4/27/94 and <br /> received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />oppormhity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed rezohing <br />and development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the broposed rezoulng and development, as <br />conditioned, plan would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the proposed project will have no potential for <br /> adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CiTY COUNCIL OF TI--1E CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves the Negative Declaration for the application of A.F. Evans Company <br />for rezonlng to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - HDR (High density <br />Residential) District and development plan approval to construct a 146-unit <br />apartment development on 7.4 acres located at 5300 Case Avenue. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council rims that the proposed project wili have a de minimis impact <br /> on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br /> <br />
