CITY COUNCIL OF I'HE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE OAK TREE FARM GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT RESOLUTION NO. 00-062 RESOLUTION DECLARING TIlE BOARD*S INTENTION TO APPROVE ASSESSMENTS WITHIN THE OAK TREE FARM GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, on November 15, 1994, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton adopted Resolution No. 94-135~ approving the fonnation of a geologic hazard abatement district CGHAD") for the Oak Tree Farm project area and appointing the City Council as the Board of Directors for the GHAD; and WHEREAS, in order to delhy the costs and expenses of maintaining and operating GHAD improvements, it is necessary to provide a reliable source of CHAD funding; and WHEREAS, Public Resources Code Section 26650 et seq. authorize, after a public hearing, the levy and collection of assessments upon bene~ted property within the GHAD to pay lbr the maintenance and operation of GHAD imprnvements; and WHEREAS, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is a report prepared for the Board which sets forth the estimated budget for the 2000-01 fiscal year, the proposed estimated assessments to be levied each fiscal year against each parcel of property bcnefited within the CHAD, and a description of the method used in calculating the estimated assessments; and WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed and considered said report. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Board hereby approves the report by the Engineer for the GHAD as set forth in Exhibit "A", including the estimated GHAD budget for the 2000-01 fiscal year set forth therein.
