CH'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE MOLLER RANCH GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT RESOLUTION NO. 00-063 RESOLUTION DECLARING THE BOARD'S INTENTION TO APPROVE ASSESSMENTS WITHIN THE MOLLER RANCH GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, on August 15, 1995, the City Cotmcil of the City of Pleasanton adopted Resolution No. 95-92, approving the formation of a geologic hazard abatement district CGHAD") for the Mollcr Ranch project area and appointing the City Council as the Board of Directom for the CHAD; and WHEREAS, in order to defray the costs and expenses of maintaining and operating GHAD improvements, it is necessary to provide a reliable source of GHAD funding; and WHEREAS, Public Resources Code Section 26650 et seq. authorize, after a public heating, the levy and collection of assessments upon benefited property within the GHAD to pay for the maintenance and operation of GHAD improvements; and WHEREAS, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is a report prepared for the Board which sets forth the estimated budget for the 2000-01 fiscal year, the proposed estimated assessments to bc levied each fiscal year against each parcel of property banefiled within the CHAD, and a description of the method used in calculating the estimated assessments; and WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed and considered said report. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Board hereby approves the report by the Engineer for the GHAD as set forth in Exhibit "A", including the estimated GHAD budget for the 2000-01 fiscal year set forth therein.
