A, PARCEl. MAP 7084 (OAK TREE <br />FARM) <br /> <br />WHEREAS. in 1992 the City's peer reviewing geologist recommended a geologic setback line <br /> within the Oak Tree Farm subdivision: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. this line governs the placement of structures within the subdivision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is empowered to remove the line if it determines that the amount <br />of proposed movement from recent or ancient landslides near the parcel does not <br />require the setback established by the line: and <br /> <br />WI1EREAS, <br /> <br />a letter from the City's peer reviewer indicates that the landslide feature shown <br />adjacent to Parcel A, Parcel Map 7084, was mischaracterized as recent (active) <br />when it should have been characterized as ancient: and <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />the peer reviewer concurs with the geotechnical engineer for the developer that <br />construction of a single family residence on this property can be accomplished <br />with an adequate factor of safety; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I'HE CII Y COUNCIL OF I'HE CII'Y OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FO11 OWS: <br /> <br />Scctioll 1: <br /> <br />Tbc City Council removes the fifty foot geologic setback line established on Parcel <br />A, Parel Map 7084. <br /> <br />Section 2: lhis rcsolulioll shall become ell~ctiv¢ immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGIH,AI~,LY AI)()P['FD ElY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PI EASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON .JUNE 6. 2000 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
