D. Traffic Engineering <br /> <br />1. ~uck Route Permit Fees and Bonds <br /> <br />a. Permit fee - <br /> <br />b. Cash Bond - <br /> <br />$8.00 plus cost of damage to <br />City road section determined <br />by Traffic Engineer or duly <br />appointed representative based <br />on the cost of road section per <br />Equivalent Wheel Loading as <br />established by existing cost <br />figures with calculations based <br />on a report entitled "An Analysis <br />of Damage in Terms of Dollar Cost <br />to Flexible Paving Due to Large <br />Equivalent Wheel Loading" <br /> <br />The traffic Engineer, or his duly <br />appointed representative, may <br />require a cash bond in an amount <br />sufficient to cover damage to <br />public improvements capable of <br />being caused by oversizing or <br />overloading of vehicles and <br />based on Engineer's previous <br />experience. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br /> c. Surety Bond- The Traffic Engineer, or his <br /> duly appointed representative <br /> may require a surety bond in <br /> lieu of a cash bond where the <br /> requirement of a cash bond <br /> would work a hardship upon the <br /> permittee. The surety bond, <br /> however, shall be for an amount <br /> sufficient to cover damage to <br /> public improvements capable of <br /> being caused by oversizing or <br /> overloading of vehicles and <br /> based on Engineers previous <br /> experience. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />DATED: October 30, 1974 <br /> <br /> ~7 <br /> <br />S.
