: }: ~ 'q'~:i\ ..... j ,. · RESOLUTION NO. 74-233 RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1974-10, PETERS AVENUE PARKING L.I.D., CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted on the 14th day of October, 1974, it was directed that bids be called for the im- provement work to be done in Assessment District No. 1974-10, Peters Avenue Parking L.IoD., City Of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, and that the time fixed for receiving sealed bids or proposals was the llth day of November, 3:00 o'clock P.M. of said day; and WHEREAS, Notice Inviting Sealed 1974, at the hour of Bids was duly published in the time and manner required by law; and WHEREAS, all bids having been publicly opened, examined and declared pertaining to the doing of the work and improvements described in the Resolution of Intention, which Resolution of Intention is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said improvements, and for all other particulars relative to the proceedings under said Resolution of Intention; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, on the 25th day of November, 1974, ordered the improvements and acquisitions to be made in said assess- ment district; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids, except that herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for said improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: GENE CALDEIRA GRADING & PAVING, INC., at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; and -1-
