RESOLUTION NO. 74-232 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGES IN THE WORK TO <br />BE MADE BY THE ENGINEER OF WORK OF ASSESSMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1974-10, PETERS AVENUE PARKING <br />L.I.D., CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, as follows: <br /> <br /> The Engineer of Work, without further authorization <br /> <br />of the City Council, is hereby authorized to order changes in the <br />work to be done in Assessment District No. 1974-10, Peters Avenue <br />Parking L.I.D., City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, <br />under the following conditions: <br /> <br /> To correct clerical and technical errors in the plans; <br /> <br /> To modify the design of the project wherever good <br /> engineering practice indicates that the modification <br /> should be made; <br /> <br /> To adjust the design of the project to utility loca- <br /> tions, soil conditions, and other field conditions <br /> which were unknown or uncertain at the time the plans <br /> were prepared. <br /> <br /> HOWEVER, the Engineer of Work shall not be authorized <br /> <br />to approve change orders resulting in the increase in construc- <br />tion costs aggregating more than the amount of contingencies pro- <br />vided for in the Amended Engineer's Report heretofore approved <br />by this City Council. <br /> <br /> , · , <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly <br />and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, <br />Alameda County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on <br />the 25th day of November, 1974, by the following vote, to wit: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers LeClaire, HerlihV, Kinney, Philcox & Mayor Mori <br />NOES: Councilmen None <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmen None <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
