RESOLUTION NO. 74-229 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~ENDING AGREEMENT WITH ENGINEER OF WORK <br />IN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1974-10~ PETERS AVENUE <br />PARKING L.I.D., CITY OF PLEASANTON, ALAMEDA COUNTY, <br /> CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the contract for engineering services in Assessment <br /> <br />District No. 1974-10, Peters Avenue Parking L.I.D., City of Pleasanton, <br /> <br />Alameda County, California, provided for the lump-sum compensation <br /> <br />to MacKAY & SOMPS in the amount of $11,000.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because of additional work and expenses in connection <br /> <br />with the preparation of a wage schedule and amendment of the plans, <br /> <br />included as part of the Engineer's Report previously filed herein, <br /> <br />the Engineer of Work has requested approval of an additional fee in <br /> <br />the amount of $600.00; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, that that certain <br /> <br />agreement dated the 14th day of October, 1974, between the CITY OF <br /> <br />PLEASANTON and MacKAY & SOMPS be amended by deleting Paragraph 3 <br /> <br />thereof and substituting the following paragraph: <br /> <br />"3. Second Party shall receive compensation for the above <br /> <br />services as follows: <br /> <br />A lump sum in the amount of $9,100.00 for completion <br />of plans; specifications, assessment district docu- <br />ments; parcel map; collection and editing of data <br />necessary to prepare wage schedule; and modification <br />of the plans and assessment district documents due to <br />the deletion of improvements on the Mayer property <br />(Assessment No. 1), payable upon receipt of the pro- <br />ceeds of assessments collected and/or bonds sold. <br /> <br />A lump sum in the amount of $1,500.00 for construction <br />staking and job coordination, payable upon completion <br />of construction. <br /> <br />A lump sum in the amount of $1,000.00 for completion <br />of assessment district proceedings and final engineer's <br />report, payable upon completion of tile final engineer's <br />report. <br /> <br />The above amount shall be paid by First Party out of the <br /> <br />proceeds of assessments levied and bonds to be issued in said pro- <br /> <br />ceedings." <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
