WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF AL~'4EDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-36 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION PROCLAII~ING MAY 3, 1975, AS <br />THE SECOND ANNUAL "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL" <br />DAY. <br /> <br />it iS well established that humanity, both individu- <br />ally and collectively, from time to time needs a <br />lifting of the spirit that can only come from the <br />enjoyment of a good time for all; and <br />the "Good Times Day" sponsored jointly with KNBR in <br />1974 was eminently successfull in fullfilling said <br />need; and <br />all parties concerned, including KNBR, the Chamber <br />of Commerce, miscellaneous other groups and individ- <br />uals, young and old, have expressed a desire to <br />repeat said happening. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of Pleasanton hereby proclaims May <br /> <br /> 3, 1975, as "Let the Good Times Roll" Day to be cel- <br /> ebrated by a gigantic parade, a street Fair at the <br /> Fairgrounds, picnics and such other forms of revelry, <br /> relaxation and entertainment as may truly provide a <br /> good time for all. <br /> <br />Section 2.
