CITY OF PLEASA~TON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFOPdqlA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-31 <br /> <br /> RE: OVERRULING OBJECTIONS AND PROCEEDING WITH ABATEi"~i~T <br /> OF WEEDS, RUBBISH, REFUSE A~D DIRT IN CITY OF PLEASANTO~ <br /> <br /> ~iE!I!LAS, the City Council at its meeting of February 10, 1975, <br /> adopted Resolution No. 75-29, declaring that weeds, rub- <br /> bish or refuse upon or in front of certain described <br /> properties within the City of Pleasanton constitute <br /> public nuisances and that the same shall be abated, and <br /> set a public hearing in regard to same; and <br /> <br /> ~tEREAS, the public hearing was scheduled to be held on February 24, <br /> 1975 at the Pleasanton Justice Court Chambers, 30 W. <br /> Angela Street, at 8:00 P.11!., at which time the City <br /> Council indicated it would hear and consider objections <br /> to the abatement and removal of said weeds, rubbish or <br /> refuse; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, on February 24, at the time, date and place specified in <br /> Resolution No. 75-29, the City Council did hold a public <br /> hearing to hear and consider objections; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTOif~ DOES <br /> P~SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Public hearing having been held on February 24, 1975 <br /> to consider protests and objections to the abatenent and <br /> removal of %~eeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of <br /> certain described properties within the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton which constitute a public nuisance and there being <br /> no oral or written protests, the City staff is ordered <br /> to abate the nuisance declared by Resolution No. 75-29 <br /> by having the weeds, rubbish or refuse removed, and for <br /> this purpose City staff or its contractor may enter upon <br /> private properties to abate the Duisance. <br /> <br />Section 2. Prior to the arrival of City staff or City's contractor <br /> any property o~er may remove said weeds, rubbish and <br /> <br /> <br />
