CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALkMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-24 <br />A RESOLUTION CO~4ENDING THE THP~EE BALLISTIC SOCCNR <br />TEAMS FOR WINNING FIRST PLACE HONORS IN TitE FIRST <br />INVITATIONAL SOCCER MEET <br /> <br />!qHEREAS, the State of Nevada recently held in Las Vegas, Nevada, <br /> the first Silver State Invitational Soccer Tournament on <br /> January 25 and 26; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 26 teams representing the States of Arizona, {California <br /> and Nevada participated in said tournament; ~rk[ <br /> <br />WXEREAS, the City of Pleasanton was represented by three teams <br /> ~rom the Pleasanton Ballistic Soccer ~,eague, said teams <br /> being in the 10, 12, 14 age categories; and <br /> <br />WIiEREAS, at the conclusion of the tournament on January !6, aIl <br /> three teams representing the City of Pleasanton Dallistic <br /> <br /> Soccer League won their respective tournaments; aud <br />%LiYi2EAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has been <br /> <br />informed of the above success of the Ballistic Socccr <br />Teams and wishes to commend said Ballistic Soccer Teai, s <br />and their coaches. <br />NOW, 1HEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLO:gS: <br /> <br />Section !. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton extends <br /> congratulations to the members and coaches of the Ballis-. <br /> tic Soccer League which represented the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton in the First Annual Silver State Invitational Soccer <br /> <br /> Tournament held in Las Vegas, <br /> 26. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Clerk is directed <br /> <br />Nevada, on January 25 and <br /> <br />to transmit a copy of this <br /> <br /> resolution of cemmendation to the men~ers of the teams <br /> as well as to the coaches. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br /> <br />
