CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALA~EDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-21 <br /> <br /> RE: FINANCING OF CULTURAL ARTS BUILDING AT <br /> A}~J1DOR VALLEY COMMUNITY PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Citv Council in the 1974-75 budget has aDpromriated <br /> $50,000.00 of Revenue Funds to be used for construction <br /> of a Cultural Arts Building; and <br /> <br />~NEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has been uelayed in proceeding <br /> with the construction of this building and <br /> costs of a modular building which was initially proposed <br /> for the site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that a permanent structure can be <br /> <br /> constructed for the sum of $100,000.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is more economical for the <br /> City to use existing fnnl=s for the purposes of financing <br /> this structure rather than borrowing money ~rom lancing <br /> institutions to accomplish the sames and <br /> <br />WREREAS, the City has approximately $106,~07.00 in unappropriated <br /> capital improvement money according to the mid-year <br /> <br /> budget review prepared by the City qanager's office; and <br /> ;HEREAS, it has been determineG that some q60,000.00 from said <br /> <br /> funds would be necessary in order to pay for the construc-- <br /> tion of the building as well as architect fees and demo-. <br /> lition costs; <br /> <br />NOW~ THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOVVS: <br /> <br />Section I. The sum of aS0,000.00 is appropriated from Revenue <br /> Sharing Funds and the Capital Improvement Fund and is <br /> !esignated for use for construction of the Cultural Arts <br /> Building to be used in conjunction with the $50,000.00 <br /> previously appropriated under the 1974-75 budget. Said <br /> $60,000.00 consists of $36,800.00 Revenue Sharing Funds <br /> and $23,200.00 Capital Improvement Fund moneVs. <br /> <br /> <br />
