!.EHE%EAS, The City Council has also assessed the City's ability <br /> to meet the water quality standards for sewage <br /> treatment at the City's antiquated and outmoded Sunol <br /> Sewage Treatment facility. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The proposed Water Quality Control Program (Alterna- <br /> tives 2(b) and 5(b)) represent the most feasible <br /> method by x,xhich the City of Pleasanton can meet the <br /> water quality objectives of the State Water Resources <br /> Control Board and the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, San Francisco Bay Region. <br />Section 2. The City Council recognizes that the abovementioned <br /> <br /> program may interferQ in the short run, with the <br /> attainment and maintenance of air quality standards, <br /> but the program is needed to solve a critical water <br /> quality problem. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Council also recognizes it may have to imple- <br /> ment land use and transportation restrictions in <br /> order to meet established air quality standards. <br /> <br />Section 4.
