CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-102 <br /> <br /> _RESOLUTION RENAMING CENTURY PARK TO CENTURY HOUSE <br /> AND BICENTINNIAL PARK. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City of Pleasanton has located on Santa Rita Road <br /> <br /> a City park presently known as Century Parb and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission at its meeting <br /> of April 23, 1975 adopted resolution 75-4 recommen- <br /> ding that said park be redesignated Century House <br /> and Bicentinnial Park in commemeration of our natio~ s <br /> 200th birthday; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council considered this matter at its meeting <br /> of May 12, 1975. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. In commemeration of the 200th birthday of the United <br /> <br /> States Century Park is designated Century House and <br /> Bicentinnial Park. <br /> <br />Section 2. City staff is directed to prepare appropriate signs <br /> to be located at said park to read Centruy House and <br /> Bicentinnial Park. <br /> <br />Section 3.
