WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-123 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED REORGANIZATION <br />OF THE TRAFFIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS. <br /> <br /> a traffic safety committee has been established <br /> pursuant to Section 5-1.28 of the Ordinance Code <br /> of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> the operation of said traffic committee over the <br /> years has indicated the need for reorganization of <br /> said committee; and <br /> at its meeting of June 9, 1975, the City Council <br /> received a repor~ from the Director of Housing and <br /> Community Development indicating that the traffic <br /> advisory committee has determined the need for re- <br /> organization of said committee~ and <br /> it was the' recommendation of said report that an <br /> ad hoc committee be appointed by the City Council <br /> consisting of five public members, none of whom <br /> would be e~pl~yees of the City, who would perform <br /> <br /> various functions related to traffic safety including <br /> application to the Office of Traffic Safety for grant <br /> funding to provide independent staff for the committee; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council considered said report. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Accepts the report prepared by the Director of <br />Housing and Community Development dated June 4, 1975, a copy <br />of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference <br />together with the memorandum of March 5, 1975, attached to said <br />June 4th memorandum. <br /> <br /> <br />
