MEMORANDUM OF UNDERST~2TDING This Memorandum of Understanding made and entered into this 30th day of June, 1975, by and between the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton, hereinafter referred to as "City", and Assistant CityManager/Director of Public Works, hereinafter referred to as "Assistant". WITNESSETH WHEREAS, it is the intent of the parties hereof that this Memorandum of Understanding be binding as regards City's obligation, if any, to pay and Assistant's right, if any, to receive salary and fringe benefits for the Fiscal Year 1975-76, beginning July 1, 1975, and ending June 30, 1976. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS }{UTUALLY AGREED BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: I. Term. The term of the agreement shall commence on July 1, 1975, and terminate on June 30, 1976. II. Benefits. Benefits for Fiscal Year 1975-76. Benefits as herein- after provided shall be paid by City to Assistant for the pay period beginning July 1, 1975, and continuing to the same level at least until June 30, 1976, whereupon such benefits may be re- evaluated by City. 1. SalaF/z.. A salary as of the date hereof of $2,425.00 per month 2. Fringe Benefits. (a) Health and Welfare benefits to include fully paid medical, long-term disability, and life insurance. (b) Two days administrative leave not to be taken in conjunc- tion with annual vacation and to be re/anbursed at the end of the year if not taken. (c) Unrestricted use of a vehicle provided by City, provided Assistant shall license said car and pay for gasoline related to personal use thereof. (d) Payment of up to five (5) days accumulated vacation to be paid at the end of the calendar year provided the current year's vacation accumulation has been used, and provided that the total amount of accumulated vacation is in excess of twenty (20) days.
