MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br />This Memorandum of Understanding made and entered into this 30th day of <br />June, 1975, by and between the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton, <br />hereinafter referred to as "City", and Acting Director of Public Safety, <br />heretnafter referred to as "Acting Director". <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the parties hereof that this Memorandum of <br /> Understanding be binding as regards City~s obligation, if any, <br /> to pay and Acting Director's right, if any, to receive salary <br /> and fringe benefits for the Fiscal Year 1975-76, beginning July 1, <br /> 1975, and ending June 30, 1976. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BETWEEN THE PARTIES HFAETO AS FOLLOWS: <br /> I. Term. The term of the agreement shall commence on July 1, 1975, <br /> <br /> and terminate on June 30, 1976. <br /> <br /> II. Benefits. Benefits for Fiscal Year 1975-76. Benefits as herein- <br /> after provided shall be paid by City to Acting Director for the <br /> pay period beginning July 1, 1975, and continuing to the same <br /> level at least until June 30, 1976, whereupon such benefits may <br /> be re-evaluated by City. <br /> <br /> 1. Salary. A salary as of the date hereof of $2,375.00 per month. <br /> 2. Fringe Benefits. <br /> <br /> (a) Health and Welfare benefits to include fully paid medical, <br /> long-term disability, and life insurance. <br /> <br /> (b) Two days administrative leave not to be taken in conjunc- <br /> tion with annual vacation and to be reimbursed at the end <br /> of the year if not taken. <br /> <br /> (c) Unrestricted use of a vehicle provided by City, provided <br /> Acting Director shall license said car and pay for gasoline <br /> related to personal use thereof. <br /> <br /> (d) Payment of up to five (5) days accumulated vacation to be <br /> paid at the end of the calendar year provided the current <br /> year's vacation accumulation has been used, and provided <br /> that the total amount of accumulated vacation is in excess <br /> of twenty (20) days. <br /> <br /> <br />
