CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-144 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN <br />FOR TOP MANAGEMENT, MIDDLE MANAGEMENT AND <br />CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL FOR THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON AND AMENDING THE 1975-76 BUDGET <br />ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment of and designation <br /> of employees as top management, middle management, and confidential <br /> employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended compensation plans for these <br /> <br /> employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has received notices from those employees who are <br /> designated middle management and confidential employees indicating <br /> their desire to be compensated under the management compensation <br /> plan rather than under the applicable Memorandum of Understanding <br /> negotiated with the PCEA or the IAFF, Local 1974; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain benefits contained in said compensation plan shall be computed <br /> <br />as of July 1, 1975, in accordance with Resolution No. 75-142; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council on May 27, 1975, by Resolution No. 75-108, approved <br /> <br /> the City Manager's proposed Budget for the 1975-76 Fiscal Year. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The report of the City Manager dated June 30, 1975, entitled <br />"Proposed Management Compensation Plan and Strategy - 1975-76", attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. The salary schedule included as Exhibit B, for top management, <br />middle management, and confidential personnel, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 3. The Memoranda of Understanding, as set forth in Exhibit C, is <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 4. The compensation set forth in the compensation plans designated <br />by this resolution has been selected by the employees in each respective <br />category.
