CITY OF PLEAS~qTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-141 <br /> <br /> RE: AUTHORIZING ODOR CONTROL PROGRAM FOR THE MOCH0 PUMP STATION <br /> <br />WHEP~AS, the City of Pleasanton has been advised by Valley Connnun- <br /> ity Services District that they believe certain sewage <br /> odors are emanating from the sewer line connected to the <br /> Mocho Pump Station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Valley Community Services District has requested ~e City <br /> to undertake necessary action to control said odors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City obtained a report from Kennedy Engineers recom- <br /> <br /> mending three methods for odor control, one of which being <br /> cultured bacteria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of June 30, 1975, con- <br /> sidered this staff report and the staff recommendation <br /> that the proposed cultured bacteria control method be <br /> <br /> undertaken <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />for a 90-day trial period; <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes for a 90-day period the use of cultured <br />bacteria as a means of attempting to control odors emanating from <br />the Mocho Pump Station sewer line, said authorization shall not <br />exceed an expenditure of $2,625. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council authorizes this action on the basis <br />that it has the consent and concurrence of the engineering staff <br />of Valley Community Services District. <br /> <br />Section 3.
