WHEREAS, <br /> <br />MEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />MEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-171 <br /> <br /> SUPPORTING THE ALAMEDA-CONTRA COSTA COUNTY MEDICAL <br /> ASSOCIATION BLOOD DONOR PROGRAM <br /> <br /> the Alameda-Contra Costa Medical Association maintains a <br /> blood donor mobile unit to serve the needs of the hospit- <br /> als in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties; and <br /> it is imperative that sufficient blood supply be available <br /> to accommodate the daily needs of the hospitals in Alameds <br /> and Contra Costa Counties; and <br /> the Blood Mobile of the above association will be in <br /> Pleasanton September 2, 1975 and will return bi-monthly <br /> thereafter for the purpose of obtaining blood from volun- <br /> teer donors; and <br /> the association has requested the City Council to support <br /> the blood donor participation program within the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Supports the blood donor participation program of the <br /> Alameda-Contra Costa County Medical Association and en- <br /> courages the citizens of the City of Pleasanton to support <br /> this vital program when the Blood Mobile Unit is located <br /> in the City of Pleasantono <br /> <br />Section 2.
