~E~AS, <br /> <br />~HEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-166 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR COUNTY GAS TAX APPROPRIATION <br /> <br /> the 1975-76 Mayor's formula for distribution of certain <br /> gas tax funds has been formulated;and <br /> the City of Pleasanton's share amounts to $107,009.32; an~ <br /> in order to obtain these funds it is necessary for the <br /> City to submit an application to the Alameda County Board <br /> of Supervisors describing the projects for which these <br /> funds will be used together with a map showing the loca- <br /> tion of each project; and <br /> the Director of Engineering Services submitted to the <br /> <br /> City Council, at its meeting of July 28, Exhibits A and B, <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, <br /> describing the projects to be undertaken,specifically a <br /> traffic signal at Hopyard Road and Johnson Industrial <br /> Drive, a traffic signalization at Santa Rita Road and <br /> Valley Avenue and a bridge over the Arroy Mocho; and <br /> the Director of Engineering Services also submitted to <br /> the City Council on July 28, 1975, Exhibits C and D <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference <br /> showing the location of the above projects. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> P~SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton approves <br /> the proposed projects attached as Exhibits A thru D for use of <br /> County Gas Tax Funds. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council authorizes appropriate members of the <br />ICity staff to make application to the County for gas tax funds <br />for the above projects in the amount of $107,009.32. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br /> <br />
