~E~AS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-188 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br /> <br />it is necessary to construct a foot bridge across the <br />Pleasanton Canal for the purpose of connecting certain <br />residential areas in the City of Pleasanton with the <br />Youth Sports Park in order to provide access for pedes- <br />trians to said park; and <br />the County of Alameda Flood Control <br /> <br />District has offered to dedicate to <br /> <br />an easement for this purpose, said easement being more <br />fully described in Exhibit A attached hereto and forming <br />a part hereof; and <br />the City Council, at their meeting of September 8, 1975, <br /> <br />and Water Conservatior <br />the City of Pleasantor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />'William H. Edgar, C t C1 <br />by Doris George, Deputy <br /> <br />its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Approve as to ~ ~ <br /> <br /> approved the acceptance of the easement referred to above; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Accepts the easement, described in Exhibit A attached <br /> hereto as Exhibit A and forming a part hereof, from <br /> Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation Dis- <br /> trict for the purpose of constructing a foot bridge across <br /> the Pleasanton Canal to provide access for pedestrians <br /> from certain residential areas of the City of Pleasanton <br /> to the Youth Sports Park. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> <br /> <br />
