Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />Section 7. <br /> <br />Section 8. <br /> <br />its intention to refuse any grant offer made in the <br />proposed amount and with said proposed condition. <br /> <br />The City Council hereby directs the City staff to <br />apply to the Regional Water Quality Board, San <br />Francisco Bay Area, for discharge requirements for <br />a new sewage treatment plant to be constructed by <br />the City, as provided under Section 2 of Resolution <br /> <br />No. 74-212. <br /> <br />The City Council hereby directs the Mayor of the <br /> <br />City to prepare and present a statement in opposition <br />to the newly proposed grant condition limiting sewer <br />connections in air impact areas at the State Board <br />meeting on May 12, 1975. <br /> <br />The City Council hereby directs the staff towrite <br /> <br />a letter to the Chairman of 'the Environmental Pollu- <br />tion Sub-Committee of the United States Senate Public <br />Works Conunittee which is now holding oversite hearings' <br /> <br />on the Clean Air Act and indicate <br />have been experienced by the city <br />correct water pollution problems. <br /> <br />the problems which <br />in attempting to <br /> <br />The City Clerk shall transmit a copy of this resolu- <br />tion to the State Water Resources Control Board, <br />Regional Water Quality Control Board (San Francisco <br />Bay Area), the Valley Community Services District, <br />and all other concerned or interested local, regional, <br />state, and federal agencies, and individuals. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. · <br /> <br />Dated: April 28, 1975 <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEAS/~NTON <br /> <br /> <br />
